Happy Fourth of July!!!

by St. Johns Coffee

Greetings Everyone!

We've been very very busy here at the shop today so I'm going to try to keep this brief.

The first thing I need to share with you is that tomorrow, we will be opening at the regular 7 am time. However, we will be closing at 2 pm so folks can celebrate the Fourth.

A couple weeks ago, Beth Nakamura, a photographer from The Oregonian visited our shop as a part of her PDX Street Style series. While here, she photographed some customers as well as our lovely and talented Jessica. Check out the entire series here - http://www.oregonlive.com/multimedia/index.ssf/2015/06/pdx_street_style_goes_for_coff.html

On July 1st, the Chinook Book on-line coupon book, of which we're a part, went active. Check it out to get some great savings from local merchants.

Wednesday evening Jeanne Levasseur came by the shop to hang her paintings. What a nice change they've made to the shop. If you haven't been in since Thursday, I would encourage you to come see these beautiful landscape paintings.

To celebrate Jeanne and her art, we're hosting an opening on Friday, July 24th from 6 pm - 9 pm. So mark your calendars and plan to come visit us, talk with Jeanne and enjoy some light snacks and beverages. And, as always, this is a kid-friendly event.

To see more of Jeanne's work, please visit her web site. - http://www.theskylinestudio.com/

The next big date (news) is that on Saturday, September 19th, we're having our Grand Opening celebration which will also coincide with our one-year anniversary of having been in the new space. Yes, I'm going out-on-a-limb here but I figure since it's been a year, it's probably time. :)

As things progress, I'll share more with you but for now, at least we have the dates set.

So please make plans to visit us for both these celebrations.

In the coffee world, our first order of coffee is being shipped to Scotland this next week. I wish I could fit myself into the box somehow.

In the meantime, many thanks for your continued patronage and keep the coffee flowing!

Have a great Fourth of July celebration.
