And I'm off, like a herd of turtles!

by St. Johns Coffee

This week's newsletter is going to be brief. My staff has been encouraging me to take some time off so last week when looking at the calendar, decided if I didn't do it this week, there was a good chance it would never happen.

So, I'm off on a four-day motorcycle adventure, on a route not fully defined. My goal, depending on weather, is to make it up as far as Neah Bay on the Olympic Peninsula.

To prepare for a few days off, yesterday I roasted what I hope will be plenty of coffee for the upcoming weekend.
We continue to go through gallons upon gallons of cold-brew coffee. With the heat we've had this week, it's a refreshing alternative to hot beverages.

I stopped at a coffee shop in Packwood, WA enroute to Mt. Rainier. Was lucky to find a place who roasts their own coffee so couldn't resist getting a picture of the roaster. She's a whole lot cuter than me! :) Coffee wasn't bad either.
